I was inspired by the huddle created by the male penguins to stay warm and care for their eggs. I added the hexagon in four shades of blue to incorporate color and pattern.

Day One
Today is the first day. New beginnings. A fresh start. A new adventure. It is with fear, yet excitement that I begin this new day. Some times, in life, you are faced with a decision that can change your life, and hopefully (fingers crossed), for the best. This is day one for me. The day is beautiful, sunny and clear. I'm hoping it's a good sign!

Xmas Wrapping Paper
Inspired by my illustration called "The Hunt," I designed this Christmas wrapping paper with seals and polar bears. I wanted to create a whimsical, modern and bright pattern in hues of blues. I don't know why but the first color that always comes to mind when I hear the word "winter" is blue and then white. I was very pleased to see the final product and extremely happy when the colors were translated beautifully into the paper. All of my friends really enjoyed receiving their Christmas gifts wrapped in my very first wrapping paper!
